       Cavern open to the tide
       Guardian of ages in repose
       On the threshold of eternal night
       Where the ancient breezes blow

       The art of ages drawn in stone
       Carve the stairway deep in the cave
       A door which I must pass alone
       To join the legions of the brave

       The path through that forbidden veil
       Evokes emotions of the soul
       All calm but for the lonely wail
       And echoed rhythms of the oceans roll

       Within the cavern lies a trap
       Dreams to tempt the greed of fools
       To cloud the hearts of mortal kin
       With Hade's treasure hoard of jewels

       The roster of lost souls is long
       That wander caverns of the deep
       Descending spirals into hell
       Where darkest demons wait asleep
