TYPHOON

     Seething tempest of the open sea,
     mindless fury of the oceanic wind.
     The wrath of thunder strikes in awe of thee.
     Your maelstrom's rage a tortured demons kin.

     Bane of sailors, horror of the night,
     maddened vision in a cruel unending dance.
     Mighty heroes ever pale at thy sight.
     Your jaws of death, infinity's expanse.

     Torrential gale, hateful spawn of hell,
     howling vortex, gaping as a hungry maw.
     Devourer of souls, hopes spirit quelled.
     A vicious, mocking, shadow eye of god.
