SHADOW JOURNEY Pastel dreams of rainy mornings play in melancholy dance, soon bewitch my homeward yearnings, seems an odd disturbing trance. Faded summers fast returning, memories of heart felt home, fleeting shadows on a journey, pathways meant for me alone. Lonely houses stand remaining broken in their weight of years, empty of lifes fever burning, remnants of our inner tears. Golden smiles of friends and lovers, tragic faces from the mist, haunting children born to suffer, fruit of man and womans kiss. Bitter sweet desires burning deep within this heart of mine, wheel of life forever turning, pain and pleasure intertwined. B.E.
